HealthDay (5/4, Mozes) reported researchers found “little evidence to support claims” that testosterone supplements “will boost testosterone levels, sex drive, strength and overall energy.” The researchers examined 50 testosterone supplements and found that only 12% “contained any ingredient shown to provide some testosterone-related benefit in human trials,” while 48% “contained ingredients that studies found could have negative impacts.” The findings were scheduled to be presented at the American Urological Association annual meeting.
